I use animations in some of my artworks, as they can be more engaging that traditional static images and can easily capture attention. What is even more important to me, animations sometimes can communicate complex ideas in a simple way, and can be useful for breaking down things that are difficult to explain or film. ↓
These holiday banners for Florida Atlantic were created to convey the exciting spirit of the holidays and the vibrant experience of living and studying at a university just 1.6 miles from the ocean. Florida's warm climate and diverse range of activities and educational opportunities inspired me to design these fun banners. I hope these banners capture the lively and inviting atmosphere of both the season and the university. You may need to reload the page to view the animation, as it does not loop infinitely but rather plays approximately three times. ↓
For the banners for the College of Engineering, I began with a more research-oriented feel, which I then transformed into exciting festivities celebrating the possibilities of technology and modern engineering. I always find it interesting to see how a similar design translates across various banner sizes. ↓
