DELdesign was truly happy to work on this good cause project!

Prized for its beautiful pink shell and meat, the queen conch is deeply rooted in the culture of the communities throughout the Caribbean. Queen conch sustains many local populations and serves as a critical part of their livelihoods. Unfortunately, intensive fishing has led to a decline in queen conch numbers. This problem not only impacts the balance of seagrass ecosystems, but also affects the people who depend on them.

This project is aiming to reach a future where people are farming seafood without damage to marine ecosystem. Restoring key species, especially the queen conch, and making lasting changes that will benefit the health and future of the Caribbean region was the main goal of this project.
