Typographic Self-Portraits challenges students to turn letterforms into identity—crafting striking black-and-white portraits using only type. By composing facial features from carefully chosen characters, students explore how typography can communicate personality, expression, and meaning without relying on shading or color. The result is a bold fusion of design and self-reflection, where every letter becomes part of the face and the story.

Every student in Typography 2 did an excellent job on this project, showing creativity and care in their self-portraits. I only wish I could showcase every single piece here—truly—but in the interest of time (and web page sanity))), please know that the works shown represent just a glimpse of an exceptionally strong and inspiring group of designers. ↓
